Disarm the bomb by guessing the code
- Challenging gameplay
- Four difficulty levels
- A little too hard
- No multiplayer mode
If you've ever dreamed of being a save-cracker or bomb disposal expert then you may want to install Crack The Code on your Palm.
Crack The Code is one of those games that's simple to play but seemingly impossible to beat. The object of the game is to guess the correct code to disarm the bomb before it blows up in your face.
There are four levels to choose from, each giving you a different number of guesses and a different time limit. Every time you make a guess you are given clues to indicate which numbers might be correct or not. A filled circle means that one of the digits is correct, whereas an unfilled circle means one of the digits is correct but in the wrong place in the sequence.
Crack The Code is good if you have sound logic skills but requires a lot of concentration to get it right. As a result, it does get a little frustrating at times. Also, it would've been nice to see a two-player mode where each person sets their own code for the other to guess.
It's not the greatest logic game ever, but Crack The Code makes for an intense cerebral workout that will have you sweating.
